Unipetrol Services was established on 1st January 2007 by transferring a part of administrative and support activities from Unipetrol, Chemopetrol, Unipetrol Doprava, Benzina and Unipetrol Trade to Unipetrol Rafinérie. On 1st April 2007, the Shared Services Center was spun off from the original Unipetrol Rafinérie, a.s., to form a separate limited liability company named UNIPETROL SERVICES, s.r.o.
The mission of the Shared Services Center is to provide support to other companies of the Unipetrol Group in selected administrative support activities, such as financial accounting and taxes, financial management, human resources management, information technology, procurement, environmental protection, safety and quality (HSE&Q) and public relations, with the aim to increase effectiveness.
